Who doesn't love dry shampoo? Since you're here, you probably love it too. But where can one buy it in Korea and how much does dry shampoo cost here? In this post I'm gonna share with you where you can buy dry shampoo in Seoul, and everything else you need to know.
Buy Dry shampoo In Drugstores
While a few years ago it used to be quite a challenge to find #dryshampoo here in Seoul, it now is widely available in drugstore chains like Olive Young, LOHBs or Lalavla. At least one of these stores is around every corner in Seoul, so it shouldn't be a problem to find one in your neighborhood. Dry shampoo brands available in most drugstores are Batiste, Freeman Psssst!, and COLAB.
Order Online
If you are super lazy like me, you can also order dry shampoo online on Gmarket or Coupang. Gmarket has an english website, but the Coupang website is only in Korean. Therefore, if you can't read Korean I would recommend to use Gmarket instead. The prices online are actually quite similar to in store, but sometimes you can find a good deal.
I would say the biggest benefit of ordering online is that they deliver it right to your door, and that it is less "shameful" to buy multiple bottles at once. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it's not like those store employees would be judging us.. right..?
Dryshampoo Prices In Korea
The price of one bottle (around 200ml) usually ranges between 10,000 to 15,000KRW ($10 - $15) depending on the brand, so it's definitely not the cheapest.
However, they often have sales and promotions where the price is reduced to around 7,000 KRW. Still not cheap, but hey, gotta take what you get. I personally tend to stock up during those sales. Luckily, those sales happen quite frequently.
I also found dry shampoo in cosmetics stores like Etude House, but the price was ridiculous! I believe a 50ml bottle costs around KRW 8,000, which is around $8 for a mini sized bottle. So, you are better off going to drug stores like Olive Young.

Generally,
If you are coming to #Korea, make sure to bring a few bottles of dry shampoo to save a couple bucks :) If you are here already, well, wait for a sale and stock up!
Hope this was helpful! See you next time,
Denise
